Anthony S. Cannatella
Principal
Anthony Cannatella has been practicing law since 1989. He has a broad knowledge of international law, corporate law, estate planning, litigation, real estate, and trademark and intellectual property law.

Anthony was formerly a partner at Pavia & Harcourt, LLP. In 2007, he left Pavia & Harcourt to begin his own firm, the Law Offices of Anthony S. Cannatella. Throughout his law career, Anthony has gained experience in many aspects of litigation and corporate organization. Dealing with many different international issues throughout the years, Anthony brings a unique business perspective to the litigation and corporate practice. He has successfully brought and defended civil actions both domestically and abroad and is well-suited to counsel clients in such actions. Both the civil litigation and the corporate practice benefit from this litigation experience. This experience allows Anthony to provide knowledgeable guidance in the drafting of corporate documents and agreements, and aid him in understanding the need to focus on issues so as to ultimately avoid litigation in the future.

Anthony also has extensive experience in both international and domestic trust and estate administration. He has counseled many clients on the best way to fulfill their estate planning goals. Anthony has also compiled estate and trust accountings and has litigated both on behalf of and against fiduciaries in probate, administration and accounting
proceedings.

Anthony is a graduate of Georgetown University (A.B. 1985), Brooklyn Law School (J.D. 1988), and New York University School of Law (LL.M. International Legal Studies 1989). He is a member of the bar of the States of New York and New Jersey. In addition, he is admitted to the Federal Courts and has practiced in both the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Alexandros Politidis
Associate Attorney
Alexandros (Alex) Politidis joined the Law Offices of Anthony S. Cannatella in 2023. His practice includes real estate transactions, trust and estate administration, business and corporate matters, and general civil litigation. Alex assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including contract negotiation, title review, closing preparation, and the resolution of issues that arise before closing. He also aids clients in matters regarding probate and administration proceedings, fiduciary matters, estate transfers, entity formation, corporate organization, transactional documents, and general business agreements.

In addition to his work with the firm, Alex has experience in professional sports, collegiate athletics, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) matters. He is a licensed FIFA Football Agent and continues to build his practice across the major sports leagues in the United States. His sports-related work includes athlete representation, contract and transfer matters, collegiate eligibility issues, NIL opportunities, and advising athletes and families on the legal and business considerations involved in modern athletics.
Alex is a graduate of St. John’s University, where he received his B.S. in Finance in 2022, and St. John’s University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2025. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

Kaitlin Hickey
Paralegal
Kaitlin Hickey joined the Law Offices of Anthony S. Cannatella in 2014. As a Paralegal, she primarily focuses on trusts and estates, including the drafting of wills and trust documents, as well as probate and administration. She also assists the firm's attorneys with preparing and managing documents and materials for a range of legal matters, including litigation and real estate transactions. Kaitlin earned her Paralegal Studies degree in 2017.
